CAMS YouthQuest Update!

With only one week left of school left, students at CAMS began the school year wind down. In Girl Talk led by Ms. Barbee, our CAMS females learned how to create their very own healthy and nutritious “Fruit-Infused Water,” a healthier alternative to bottled flavored water. They chose their own fruity combinations of freshly cut fruits, dropped them into mason jars full of cold water, and let them sit for approximately two hours. The result: refreshingly cold flavored water that would rival any bottled water bought at the store. Students also participated in the last week of choir led by Mrs. Threldkeld. We thank and appreciate her greatly for sharing her lyrical expertise with our staff and students. Our CAMS males also concluded the final week of their Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood Club and took full advantage of the week’s warm weather by playing a game of organized touch football. We look forward to next week’s Family Fun Night at Richfield Bowl, followed by the YouthQuest End of the Year Celebration event at Bluebell Beach. We invite family and friends to join us on Thursday to join in on the fun in the sun and to conclude the 2012-2013 school year with a bang! We’ll see you there! CAMS YouthQuest Update!

Dillon Time Capsule

On May 23, 2013 this year’s Seniors took a visit back to their elementary school to open a time capsule they filled when they were in Third Grade.  Mr. Personett, our former gym teacher, was also in attendance for the opening of the time capsule! Mrs. Lantz, our former principal, was also here! The day was full of great memories, old and new friendships, ice cream, and laughter.

Our current third grade students also put some objects and memories in the time capsule! We hope to see all of them back here in nine years!
