Positive Peers At Dillon!

Dillon’s Positive Peers have been so helpful during all these cold days we have been inside. Our third grade students will go into the kindergarten classrooms and help monitor them during recess. What a great help for our Noon Hour Supervisors.

Dye’s Awards Assembly

Dye’s students were honored during our second marking period awards assembly. Mrs. Fields and Mrs. Cox had the privilege to present many of our students with different awards. The students received awards for All A’s honor roll, A-B honor roll, perfect attendance, Citizenship, Home Links and Study Links. Congratulations to everyone. You did a great job.

Legacy Capstone Project

shutterstock_97554893Kudos to CAHS Senior Norman Kolena! His Legacy Capstone Project for English 12 was to set up a Toys for Tots drop off center at the CA High School Media Center. Toys and monetary donations are being accepted through Friday, March 14. Norman will be joining the marines this summer and wanted to do a project focused on his love of the military, but also one that serves his community. Any support will be greatly appreciated. You may contact the media center at 591-5543 should you have questions. Thank you.

Dillon Brain Gym!

Many teachers at Dillon Elementary have students do brain gym throughout the day. This helps the students get exercise and wake up during different parts of the day. We like to see our students awake and ready to learn!
