Dillon’s Halloween Hike
Friday, October 27th Dillon Parent Club celebrated Halloween with their Annual Halloween Hike. Students came dressed for a morning of hiking the halls and collecting treats along the way. Classes also held parties. A big thank you to all of the volunteers who came out to help, we can’t do it without them.

Mrs. Wolsker, the District Elementary Math Coordinator, was available to talk with parents about the elementary math curriculum and Everyday Math. Families enjoyed dinner and left with math tool kits and free books. Our next Title I night is scheduled for December 5.

One World, Many Stories
Dillon hosted another successful Language Arts Fair on February 28. Nearly 250 people enjoyed a delicious dinner, games, crafts, and stories. The halls were covered with students’ class work and art relating to the theme “One World, Many Stories”. As families explored the displays, there were crafts and activities to add to the experience, including African animal presentations by Mrs. Grulke’s second and third grade students. It was a great evening full of learning and fun for everyone!
