FLINT, MI – The Flint Water Festival introduces the Flint Water Challenge #Hydrate4FlintSake campaign to raise awareness and funding for the provision of safe water for residents after FEMA assistance ends onAugust 14, 2016.

The Flint Water Challenge #Hydrate4FlintSake is a water drinking game that involves at least two opponents racing to finish a cup of water, place the cup on edge of the table, and flip the cup into a face down position with one hand. The losing opponent makes a donation and both nominate new players. The top players and organizations will compete for cash, trophies and charity before the Fireworks in downtown Flint (120 E. 1st St.) from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. on July 1, 2016, which is the Flint Water Festival kickoff date.

The Flint Water Festival is an inaugural charity event dedicated to raising funds for water www.flintwaterfestival.com resources for the residents of Flint, MI, and providing enrichment services to the youth on July 1-2, 2016. It will feature entertainment, activities, and educational presentations in Flint’s downtown, cultural and college life districts. Events are free admission and include free food in addition to giving away cash prizes.

RICH Kids, Inc. is a non-profit, charitable organization committed to providing education and entertainment programs for youth in an effort to counter the adverse health and social effects of the ongoing water crisis.
