Andrea Atkinson

Andrea is returning to C-A as a 7th & 8th grade Social Studies teacher. Some may remember Andrea from when she was a teacher and librarian with C-A over 10 years ago. She is very excited to be reunited with her C-A family and looks forward to sharing the training and experience she gathered while in Virginia to enhance the education she can provide her students.

Jo-K Boegner

Jo-K is joining Dye Elementary as a 1st grade teacher. She enjoys camping and walking with her family. They have traveled in the U.S. as well as to Aruba. She is looking forward to being a part of the C-A community.

Shawna Close

Shawna has joined Rankin as Assistant Building Secretary.  Family trips have taken them from Michigan to Florida, most recently in their vintage 1975 Yellowstone camper. They enjoy hiking, kayaking, camping, and board games. She enjoys reading and has just started a tiny hobby orchard. Shawna also volunteers with the Genesee County Humane Society as well as the Grand Blanc AYSO.

Isabella Columbus

Isabella is teaching 5th grade at Randels. In her spare time, she loves to read historical fiction, hike and travel around Michigan. Her absolute favorite place to be is in the U.P. during the summer. She plans to spend even more time there as she just bought a fixer-upper cabin in Munising. Isabella shares her home with two guinea pigs.

Stephanie Damron

Stephanie is excited to join the Middle School as a Counselor. Outside of school she enjoys traveling, hiking, exercising, and walking her Golden Retriever. She recently travelled to Hawaii where she eloped with husband, Ned. They are wanting their next trip to be to Greece. She also volunteers time with Make-A-Wish.

Amber Dillard

Amber is teaching at Randels this year. Some may remember her from when she was in the STAR room there. Amber enjoys reading, writing, and acting and would love to travel to Europe as well as Disney someday. Her enjoyment of acting has led her to be the Buckham Alley Theatre Group Board of Director’s President. Amber shares her home with three dogs – Pepper Marie, Phoebe Mae, and Piper Margaret

Jillian Dougherty

Jillian loves to teach and can’t wait to grow alongside her CAMS English students and have a wonderful school year. Her hobbies include reading, writing, robotics, fishing, camping and sports – including volleyball, basketball, and football. She went to Universal Florida for honeymoon and loved Hogwarts. They would love to one day be able to visit Jamaica.

Amanda Dye

Amanda is excited about being our new Counselor at Randels. She enjoys reading and watching movies with her family.

Kelly Fabian

Kelly is looking forward to her new position in the Middle School this year. She enjoys snow ski, boating, kayaking and swimming. Some day she dreams of a trip to Ireland.

Cynthia Fuller

Cynthia is excited to join the High School. She is even more excited to be returning to face-to-face instruction. She has been able to travel to Mexico, Canada, and the Dominican Republic. Eventually she would like to travel to Australia. Cynthia also enjoys spending time listening to music, gardening, and drama/plays.

Tanya Gillum

Tanya joins C-A as school social worker for Dillon and Dye Elementaries. She is looking forward to working with our students.

Jessica Hetherton

Jessica is our Student Parent Advocate for Dillon and Rankin Elementaries.  She loves to travel and explore around Michigan and has also spent time in Costa Rica and Maui. Other interests include camping, hiking and crafting. She is excited to be at C-A to serve our families.

Jennifer Hosie

Jennifer is excited to get this year going. She is a Kindergarten teacher at Dillon. She enjoys kayaking, paddle boarding, off-roading in her Jeep and traveling. So far she has been to Florida, Iowa, Wisconsin, Tennessee and her favorite – Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. She is planning a trip to Jamaica in 2022.

Sherri Irish

Sherri is excited to join the Cavaliers family at the High School. She enjoys reading, spending time at the beach and spending time with family.

Greg McClure

Greg joins us as an English teacher at the High School. He’s always been an avid reader and has also spent time as a poet. Some day he hopes to travel to Ireland, the Czech Republic, and the Pacific Northwest.

Art Moody

Art is teaching math at the Middle school. He is very interested in soccer and is a soccer coach. Art also enjoys tennis and pickleball. He enjoys hiking and finding hiking spots with his kids Allisyn and Carsyn.

Stephanie Ramirez

Stephanie is our Secretary to the Director of Student Support Services. She has spent time traveling to several destinations and anticipates more travel in the future. Stephanie is also a Den Leader for Cub Scouts. She has returned to her alma mater and is excited about this opportunity to serve the community that she loves and grew up in.

Tonika Russell

Tonika joins C-A as a counselor at the Middle School. She enjoys traveling with her family, Derelle and DemiRose. They have visited 15 states and been to Canada. Some day they would love to travel to Bora Bora. She is excited to work in her community –  counseling and youth are her passions.

Patricia Rathbun

Patricia will be at Dye Elementary as a Special Education teacher. She enjoys swimming, reading, traveling and gardening. She has travelled throughout Canada and the U.S. as well as to Italy, Germany, Greece, Turkey, Switzerland, Austria, Jamaica, and Mexico. At some point she would like to visit Australia, Hawaii and Slovakia where she has relatives. Patricia is excited to be in a district that represents home and is looking forward to helping students succeed.

Debra Shaw

Debra is a paraprofessional at the High School. She spends a lot of time traveling with her husband, Chris, for their son, Dylan’s flat track dirt bike racing. She does dream of a trip to Europe one day. Debra looks forward to returning to the halls of the school she once attended.

Jennifer Stallings

Jennifer will be in the Resource Room at the Middle School this year. She enjoys singing, being outdoors and spending time with her family. She is looking forward to building relationships and learning together.

Dr. Jim Tully

Dr. Tully is teaching music at Dillon and Rankin this year. He is an extensive traveler and is a self-proclaimed cruise fanatic having been to the Bahamas, Bermuda, Southern Caribbean, Florida Keys, and Alaska. He is honored to be chosen as music teacher at two schools that have not had one in a few years. He hopes to Educate, Elevate, and Entertain!
