Robotics team 3485 “Da Peeps” Excelled at the World Championship

Robotics team 3485 Da Peeps Excelled at the World Championship The Carman-Ainsworth FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge) Robotics team 3485 Da Peeps did very well in their competition last week. They received an award for being the finalist in their division at the World Championship. They competed at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, Missouri against the best teams in the world. There are over 2,800 FTC teams throughout the world; only 128 teams were invited to compete at this level, and Da Peeps successfully fought their way to the semi-finals before being beaten. They were also nominated for the Connect Award by a team of judges which honored them for their extensive community outreach efforts. The competition team includes junior Christopher Smith and freshman Mikaila Garrison.

We also want to thank Meghan Borgerding-Junior and Taylor Talbert-Junior for working hard throughout the season to get us to the World Championship!

Thanks for all of the support you have given us throughout the past 8 years!
